Kiltegan Graveyard
also known as Shanavine Graveyard,
is situated on the Glenconnor Road out of Clonmel, and is off-road, with no known right-of-way to gain entrance to the site. It is an historic graveyard, now closed, with around 80 known graves. To gain access it is necessary to obtain the permission of the land owner of the field through which the visitor has to pass.
Recently, Tipperary Co. Council have done some work in removing the brambles and overgrowth that prevented a visitor from seeing virtually anything at the graveyard. The photos below reflect the position as of May 2015.
